Often, the background for a WMF object created from Autodesk software is set to black, but this does not print well. Rather than editing the drawing in the Autodesk software and recreating the output, you can use the existing file and change the Fill value to No Fill or Semitransparent.
There is another option on the Colors and Lines tab, which resets the line geometry attributes. When the line geometry of WMF files displays too thinly for use in the document, you can select the thin geometry and then set this option to change the weight value. These are just some of the features available in Word for modifying drawing geometry. These features, combined with other editing functions in Word, provide a powerful post processing environment for handling geometry.
By using these features in Word, you can avoid adjusting your drafting standards to meet the needs of document publishing. Control and choose OK. A box representing the WHIP! I work more efficiently with AutoCAD A few months ago, I did Win7 32 bit. I just ran into a roadblock that I'm sure I figured out. However, stupid me, I didn't write down how I solved it. Basically, we have a KIP Plotter. When I'm setting up the plotters for the specific profile, after selecting the correct heidi driver for the plotter, I get an error that says "Heidi file not loadable", then "Unknown Error Code Right now, I'm so angry at myself for not jotting the workaround.
Any help would be appreciated. PS-Full Admin rights on the box at this time, updated everything, using correct heidi driver for Civil 3D Same setup on 32bit. I know this isn't 64bit issue. Also UAC turned off.
Okay, just figured it out. Boy, I feel stupid. I thought I had the right heidi driver, so downloaded the new one which I did before and used that and it works. This is so stupid that I ain't even going to do a BA here. Yeah, this is a little different.
